In a post on ResetERA, a Batman fan shared some posts they’d found on the Instagram of The Flight, a music composing duo whose work can be heard in several video games, TV shows, and films. In January, The Flight made two posts about the new Batman game, sharing the “capture the knight” teaser images which had also been posted by Warner Bros. The Instagram bio for The Flight says that the composers are making music for some “new, secret stuff in production” and it seems that this would be the Batman game.

If The Flight is making the music for the new Batman game, then fans have every reason to get excited. The composers have won several awards and created the music for games such as Alien: Isolation, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The Horizon Zero Dawn score won an a Jerry Goldsmith and while The Flight isn’t the only team that worked on the game’s music, it shows just how much it was enjoyed.
Fans will be glad that one thing about the game has been revealed as they are unsure about nearly everything else. The teasers released by the game developers do suggest that a popular DC character will be featured in the game but this is just speculation. There have also been rumors about the game’s story but nothing has been confirmed.
It’s also unclear when Warner Bros. will officially announce the game. Warner Bros. does seem to be planning a big announcement but it has been weeks since the last teaser was revealed and there are several spaces for more images. This means that it could take many more weeks until fans get to learn about the story and gameplay.
The reveal of the new Batman game may also be part of the rumored PS5 event. Many fans would want to see a Batman game as a PS5 launch title and see how the superhero could have a new adventure on the powerful console and it seems like there is potential for that to happen.
