For 60 Euros, the pass is around 20 Euros cheaper than it is to buy the game and the season pass right now, and those who have yet to jump into the Battlefield 1 action will be saving a lot of money if they wait to pick up the Revolution Edition. However, some will be asking whether it is worth investing in the game at this point at all.
During the same financial call in which EA revealed that Battlefield 1 is doing well, the company also revealed that a new Battlefield game will be released in 2018. It’s likely that there are still 10 months to go until EA formally announces this new game, and the company is unlikely to share too many tidbits before all of the Battlefield 1 DLC has been released. But some will be asking themselves whether they would be better off waiting for the new title or just buying the base game of Battlefield 1 instead of the Revolution Edition package.
