Firstly, as far as In the Name of the Tsar is concerned, the developer released a brand new piece of concept art for the expansion that can be seen below, and has divulged that it is slated to be released sometime during the “late summer.” This suggests the possibility of the second piece of paid DLC for Battlefield 1 coming out during either August or September.

When it comes to Battlefield 1’s other content to drop before then, DICE detailed that the Nivelle Nights map that has been previously shown to fans will launch in June for owners of the game’s Premium Pass and a new map, Prise de Tahure, will soon be tested on CTE servers. According to the developer’s blog post, Prise de Tahure will makes its debut on the CTE “shortly,” but there has been no confirmation as to when fans should expect it to be added to the full game. Screenshots of the two maps can be seen below following Prise de Tahure’s official description below.

Beyond the aforementioned materials, Battlefield 1 is set to receive its next monthly update sometime in May. While DICE has yet to explicate exactly what its contents are, the developer has declared that it “brings further improvements to the game,” and that “fans of Operations will be extra pleased by this update,” as they should, “expect playlists for the mode and easier access to get quickly into the action.”

While fans wait on further revelations when it comes to Battlefield 1’s summer materials and the In the Name of the Tsar DLC, they can at least take comfort in the fact that the game recently received a major spring update to tide them over until then. Bearing all of this in mind, it’s definitely good to see DICE and Electronic Arts continually stepping up to deliver sumptuous amounts of content to keep Battlefield 1 fans engaged with the title.

Battlefield 1 is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
