The most news that players have received is a confirmation that the official announcement trailer for the title will be “coming soon” from developer DICE. As such, players have been looking for signs of the trailer everywhere, and have been spurred on by various leaks including the audio of the Battlefield 6 trailer. However, all of the various leaks that have pointed towards a release date have ultimately proven to be inaccurate, but there is a seemingly reputable source that could point to the trailer coming this week.

The source in question is music team 2WEI. The group tweeted this week saying that two game trailers featuring their music are coming out later this week. Fans believe this is pointing towards the Battlefield 6 trailer as a second leak of audio clips from the Battlefield 6 trailer featured one of the group’s songs. The possibility of the trailer releasing this week is also supported by an earlier leak that claimed the trailer would release after publisher EA’s next investor call, which just happens to be on May 11.

Fans are hoping that the new trailer will answer some of the many questions surrounding Battlefield 6. There have been a wide variety of rumors surrounding the title, including some truly wild ones, such as Battlefield 6 being a hub for all previous Battlefield titles. With how many rumors and leaks have made the rounds, many fans are pining to simply get some solid information on the title as it is slated to release later this year. Of course, many fans are also waiting to see how the title will size up to this year’s Call of Duty release that also has started seeing rumors and leaks about it circulating.

Hopefully, fans will get some information on Battlefield 6 soon. With the title coming later this year it does seem likely that DICE and EA would release an official reveal soon before providing more details this coming summer as EA will likely be hosting an event around this year’s E3. When the trailer is finally released, hopefully, it will confirm some of the community’s burning questions, such as whether or not it will feature a battle royale mode or what updates will be made to the series’ iconic destruction system.

Battlefield 6 is confirmed to be in development and is scheduled to release sometime this year.
