I posed the question last week on Twitter: Without looking it up, do you know who led MLB in total bases in 2019? I had just looked it up and was surprised by what I found. The responses to my question were somewhat predictable — Mike Trout, Cody Bellinger, Ronald Acuña Jr., etc. — but nobody in the initial flurry of guesses got it right. In fact, many of the names mentioned didn’t even finish in the top 10, which told me two things: 1) We don’t really pay much attention to that particular line on a player’s stat sheet; and 2) Total bases might be an under-valued, or at least under-discussed, measure of a player’s offensive ability....

Bat Boy has no relation to the caped crusader or his sidekick, or the fictional character turned off-Broadway musical for that matter. Instead, Bat Boy is a modern take on a superhero platformer that combines two of Japan’s proudest pastimes, baseball and classic video games. Game Rant spoke to Sina Faroughi of X PLUS and Sergio Matta of Sonzai Games about the story behind Bat Boy and the inspirations they drew from classic NES games....

It goes without saying that Battlefield 2042 has had a rough time since its release. Instead of receiving critical acclaim and fan adoration, the game was widely criticized for its revamp of core Battlefield principles and an overall lack of content and features, but DICE and EA have managed to turn things around to a point where 2042 could maintain its stride, and this will seemingly continue for some time yet....

At launch, Battlefield 5’s Firestorm battle royale mode only supports solo and squads, meaning players either play by themselves or with three other people. Duos is a popular mode in battle royale games, and so it’s not surprising that DICE is looking to add it to Battlefield 5’s Firestorm. However, Battlefield 5 Firestorm Duos will come with a catch that may disappoint those looking forward to its introduction. According to DICE, Duos will be coming to Battlefield 5 Firestorm as Duo Play at some point in April....

After players reach level 99, they can then move on to S-levels. These levels don’t help characters unlock any items or progress through the game any faster.
