Shifting post-launch plans, DICE went to work at fixing the game and in the following months have managed to really turn around Battlefield 2042. The recently released Season 3 update for Battlefield 2042 has made some smart changes and even made the game available on Game Pass, opening the title up for an even bigger pool of players to check out. The game’s turnaround has even given rise to more positive developments as DICE further details what fans can expect down the road in Seasons 4 and 5....

We now know much more about Battlefield V and what to expect from the upcoming shooter following the release of a new trailer that showcases new mechanics and the first details about the upcoming Battle Royale mode, Firestorm. There’s also a new trailer showing off the varied online environments you’ll be battling in when the game is released later this month. To no fault of the Battlefield series as a whole, the mode simply fell flat due to its lack of evolution/innovation in a packed genre filled with different takes on the core mechanics. Fans have had a long time to prepare for the Battleborn servers going offline. Even EA and DICE seemed as though they had given up on the game as well, as recent statements from both companies showed that although lessons were being learned from the disastrous case of Battlefield 2042, these lessons were being used to improve the next Battlefield game rather than fixing the current one. For some fans, it seemed the best idea to just admit defeat and move on, though others wanted to see Battlefield 2042 recieve some serious changes before a new game was worked on....

While that certainly makes for an interesting action setpeice for any video game trailer, this showcased moment actually ocurred in Battlefield 3 by a user named Stun_gravy. With the most recent game, Battlefield 2042, featuring a mix of huge maps and unique operators with special abilities, fans have already begun to put together some epic moments. One player in particular posted a clip in which they act as a savior to a nearby teammate....

Much like older titles in the series, one of the major draws of Battlefield 2042 is how much ridiculous stuff players can do with the tools at hand. This includes how much players can get away with when properly handling, or improperly handling, the game’s major vehicles.
