Personally, I have been able to live a more authentic life. I came out publicly in June 2013. I was embraced by my community as well as my team. The amazing part is what has occurred since telling my team I was gay. So much has taken place nationally in the basketball community. In many ways, basketball has been the forefront of the LGBT sports movement. Of course, it all started with Jason Collins making his announcement in Sports Illustrated....

As for what prompted the release of the Earth 2 Dark Knight skin, it goes back to a recent release in mid-2019. Rocksteady Studios put out a special Batman: Arkham Collection bundle that included the Earth 2 skin, but it was exclusively made available in Europe on PS4. At the time of the collection’s announcement in June 2019, Rocksteady confirmed that the skin would come to all PS4 owners of Batman: Arkham Knight 6 months later....

And now it seems the upcoming patch of Arkham Knight might finally give PC gamers that chance. The cure-all patch for Arkham Knight accidentally released today but only for those who opted into Steam’s beta testing. As seen in the video from Digital Foundry below, the analysis for the remaster of Batman: Arkham City reveals that both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions use dynamic resolution, but opt to keep the vertical axis at 1080p. That said, depending on what scene a player reaches in the game, the Arkham City remaster’s resolution drops as low as 1600×1080 on PS4, and 1024×1080 on Xbox One....

As games are wont to do approaching launch, a trailer was released today focusing in on what Gearbox likely sees as Battleborn’s most marketable attributes. That is to say, expect style, silliness, over the top action, and all of it to the healthy rhythmic beats of a techno song that is sure to get stuck in many a viewer’s head. In the trailer, players can expect to see glimpses of all 25 characters, from the penguin in the robot suit to some sort of mushroom guy....

Senior Producer on the game, Patrick Bach, stated that the free day 1 DLC will be a set of new multiplayer maps. Personally, I think the decision by EA to include this system in more of their games is a smart one. It’s mainly to combat used sales, and this is a great way of achieving that goal. EA charged $15 for access to Mass Effect 2’s Cerberus Network if you didn’t buy it new, which would make many people think twice about doing so....

Yet it seems the World War I shooter isn’t done dominating the gaming industry. During a financial earnings report shared today, EA revealed the Battlefield 1 player base during launch week was almost double that of Battlefield 4, and is still growing. While EA didn’t provide specific sales numbers for Battlefield 1, the fact that it’s doing so much better than Battlefield 4 is telling. Granted, Battlefield 4 had a rocky start, but it was still better than EA’s last Battlefield game, Battlefield Hardline, which struggled at launch and never really recovered....

One thing that Battlefield 2042 beta players did enjoy though, was the game’s specialist characters. Players experimented with the character’s various special abilities, finding the specialist right for them. One such specialist is Pyotr “Boris” Guskovsky, who will be available to play through the Engineer class. Pyotr is a Russian-born member of the No-Pats group and is somewhat shrouded in mystery. His specialist abilities, however, make Pyotr a good choice for the more attack-minded Battlefield player....

While the strategy for DLC maps and modes in Battlefield 2042 has not been detailed, DICE has clarified its approach to microtransactions. The game will be featuring a battle pass system, though gamers do not need to worry about pay-to-win systems being included. Instead, the passes will be purely cosmetic, with gamers not getting any gameplay advantage whatsoever from the battle pass. The number of battle passes that will come to the game has also been clarified, though fans have been left to wonder what items will be on offer and how the tiers will be progressed....

The problem is money. It’s always money. Without fans in the stands, owners reportedly want players to accept a revenue-sharing plan for whatever form the 2020 season takes.
